NEWCASTLE NOIR 2020

It is with a heavy heart that we regret to share that our Crime Fiction Festival planned for this May is postponed because of concerns about the Covid-19 situation.

We’re immensely proud of the programme for our 7th Festival that was launched just recently. We are extremely sad not to have the opportunity to deliver it to our community.

We realise that this may come as a huge disappointment and inconvenience for our festival authors. Please know that we have made this decision with careful consideration and advice from the Library and City Council.

We want to support our prospective NN20 as much as practically possible over the coming months. And therefore we are looking at organising some online alternatives, blog tours and other publicity opportunities. We ask for your patience and support until we’ve worked that through a little bit more. We would welcome any ideas about how we could support you.

Until then, we hope you stay fit, healthy, safe and keeeeep reading and writing.
